A man expresses his opinion and Progressives show their true rainbow colors.

This is SO GAY! Bunch of butt-hurt, self-righteous, intolerant, ignorant, close-minded, backward morons.
If you don’t like it; don’t read it, don’t watch it. If it is offensive to you, turn away. If it is counter to your beliefs, ignore it. (why does this all sound so familiar?)

GQ Magazine is the one with the audacity to ask a man for his opinion who is wide open with his convictions and to then print the answer.  They’re the ones that chose to sensationalize this by publishing it so they can make money off of it.  They are the ones carrying the interviewee’s opinion to the masses.  So where is the outrage towards them???

Progressives are tantruming with their eyes closed over gun control, yet again.

Look at those good guys with evil guns on the scene.

All over the web the last couple days progressive sites are decrying the recent Colorado shooting and condemning guns… again. Of course, this was expected, the entertaining part this time though is their search for something they can latch on to. Unfortunately for them, this shooting doesn’t conform to any, not one, of their usual mantras or talking points. As a result, they are flailing for something, anything, they can use out of this event – and there is nothing. Continue reading

Wife on GirlCation – Dad On His Own With 5 Kids – Day 3

My wife  left for the week on a well-deserved Cayman Islands and Cozumel Cruise with her four sisters – no husbands allowed.  She left me at home in charge of taking care of five of our kids every day.  This is the story of how much I miss her.  It starts here.

Not wanting to repeat the events of the morning, I tried taking a melatonin when I went to bed last night.  Twenty minutes later I lay awake staring at the ceiling, frustrated that it wasn’t working.  Then all of the sudden my alarm was going off… Continue reading

Wife on GirlCation – Dad On His Own With 5 Kids – Day 2

My wife  left for the week on a well-deserved Cayman Islands and Cozumel Cruise with her four sisters – no husbands allowed.  She left me at home in charge of taking care of five of our kids every day.  This is the story of how much I miss her.  It starts here.

I travel fairly often – and while I don’t relish sleeping in a hotel bed by myself, it’s usually not too bad.  Last night though, I found out that sleeping in my own bed by myself sucks.  Actually it doesn’t just suck… I hate it.

Wife on GirlCation – Dad On His Own With 5 Kids – Day 1

Today my wife left for a week to go on a cruise to Cozumel with her sisters -no husbands allowed.  Well, they’re off to have a good time and me and the 5 kids are determined to have a blast too!  This is gonna be good so I figured I better blog about it everyday to let everyone know how easy it is to manage the family with Mom gone!

For starters, when the kids got home from school and I got home from work, they were all pretty bummed that Mom was gone to Mexico without them.  To cheer them up I decided to let them have a special privilege: TV!  Normally they can’t watch TV during a school week, only on the weekends – and by TV I mean they watch approved shows on Netflix.  Anyway, they were excited about this break from the norm. The Communication of Expectation and the Militarization of Our Police

Communication of Expectation

Often without realizing it, people in general perform or behave according to socially understood and clearly communicated expectations.

For example; when most people walk into a church, they become more reserved, quiet, reverent.  When most people walk into a hospital, they do nearly the same.  When people walk into a sporting event, they are loud and rowdy.  At an orchestral performance, play or movie most people will sit and visit without much concern for volume but when the performance starts they stop talking, sit back and be quiet. Women on the Front Lines; a Pathetic Sign of the Depth of our Societal Corruption

The inescapable fact of our existence is that God, Selection, Nature (whichever lens you view such things through) designed humans to have capabilities and instincts to reproduce and ensure the continuation of the species, without their existence we would not be here. The biological imperatives that must exist in our species in order for us to currently exist are: Survival, Territorialism, Competition, Reproduction, Quality of Life-Seeking and Group Forming. Failure to develop these traits on an instinctive level results in a maladaptive species for whom failure to persist is assured. Hence, the mere fact that we are here right now attests to our successful adaption to survive. Continue reading

Thinking about running for President of the United States

Ya know, I’ve been thinking about this and pondering it. But, when did the POTUS become a celebrity type position? I’m sure it’s been going on for a while but it seems to be grossly highlighted with Obama.

I swear it feels more like we have a King than a public servant / President. Somehow we are now more invested in “our choice” than in actually critiquing what the man in the office does.

And when did the “qualifications” to be President and the actual job of the President become more than defending the country and establishing foreign policy?

Mormon Perspectives: The History and Authority of The Bible and its Translation

The Bible is made up of 66 books (King James Version) and was written on three different continents in three languages: Hebrew, Aramaic and Koine Greek over 1600 years by ~40 men claiming to be recording inspiration from God from ~1500BC to ~100AD.  It has been translated into over 1,200 languages and dialects and was first translated into English in 1388 (when it was finished).  Its purpose is to prophecy and testify of the coming of The Messiah (Old Testament), to record the fulfillment of that prophecy as Jesus Christ (New Testament) (over 3,200 prophecies have been fulfilled and over 3,100 are still open), to establish The Gospel or God’s Law among men, to proclaim and prophesy the Return of Jesus Christ and to inform man of who they are, where they came from, why we are here and what is our purpose and future.

Society Didn’t Build That – Obama’s partisan antecedent Rorschach test

In July, President Obama spoke in Roanoke Virginia and (inadvertently?) presented a partisan antecedent Rorschach test in one of his most outlandish speeches yet.  This time, the antecedent Rorschach test uses “that” instead of Clinton’s “is”.

If you’re an Obama supporter, his use of ‘that’ in “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that” means infrastructure – roads, the internet, the economy and so on.  It also means everyone who sees it differently is taking it out of context.

If you’re not an Obama supporter, “that” refers to the business that you built.  It also means Obama is a Socialist promoting a Collectivist theory.

If you’re undecided about Obama, you probably think it refers to your mother.
